The Charger Cable Camera has a standard USB connector on one end and a smartphone connector on the other end.  The standard USB connector has a hidden camera and DVR inside.  The the other end can connect to a smartphone for charging.  There is a "Micro USB" version which is used by most Android phones, and a "IPhone" version, for the current IPhone or IPad models.

The camera begins operating whenever the USB is connected to a power supply.  When you disconnect it, the camera will stop recording.  To play back the recordings, connect the USB to a computer and use your favorite media player software to play the video files (they are standard .AVI videos).

There are several presets that you can change to adjust the camera for different types of applications.  Resolution can be adjusted to 1080p, 720p or 480p.  Recording can be continuous or motion activated.  Time and date is also displayed on the video.
