The Cup Lid Camera operates on battery power and lasts approximately 3 hours per charge. There is a generic white cup included with the camera (not the branded cup in the picture), but you can substitute any brand name cup in its place, so the camera will look more like your everyday coffee or tea. A Large or X-Large size cup seems to fit the lid best. In the picture we used a L size, and anything smaller would have looked odd, or would not have fit. The lid contains all the electronics: the camera, the battery, the memory card slot and the controls. Nothing is actually in the cup.

Note: Never use a full cup! This device is not waterproof.

To operate, simply insert a MicroSD Card and press record. The camera then records video and audio until you press stop or the battery runs out. You can recharge the battery with the included USB cable.
