Over the past few years, Spytech staff have seen a rise in dashcam use among our customers. When they first appeared, the most common application was to use these dashcams in delivery vehicles to reduce cargo losses. As the technology improved, companies invested in dashcams to monitor their fleets for irregular driving hours or even extreme fuel waste.
Nowadays, the dashcam has become fashionable for everyday drivers to protect themselves against insurance fraud, especially in those countries where such fraud is most common.
